We are looking for a skilled HR and Legal professional to join our CS GROUP – ROMANIA team in Craiova and to take responsibility for the management of our HR and legal activities, under the functional management of the CS GROUP teams. The role is ideal for someone with a strong expertise in human resources management and local labor law, commercial contracts, corporate legal compliance.

Job description

  • Draft and review commercial contracts and agreements, as well as other legal documents
  • Lead or assist in contract negotiations and coordinate with internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers
  • Assuring the internal legal suport for projects managers and the CEO throughout the entire contract lifecycle
  • Assist the Group legal departments and the local management in maintaining and developing legal strategies, standards and procedures to ensure local compliance
  • In-house legal consultancy for all departments (compliance, finance, labor etc)
  • Providing support in the pre-sale process during the consultation and negotiation phase (support documentation, proposal review from a legal perspective, contractual conditions analysis, compliance issues, communication with the pre-sales team and the CS Group/ Sopra Steria Group legal departments…)
  • Together with the Group legal departments and the local management, organizing and documenting the General Assembly of Shareholders and Board of Directors meetings, as well as providing consultancy on topics related to the local company law
  • Providing support in various audits (clients, local authorities, certification authorities) and assessments/certifications processes, as well as assuring the administration of various client’s and authorities platforms (e.g. EU, ONRC, ORDA…)
  • Relation with the Romanian Trade Registry (registering files and documentation on dedicated online platform) or drafting the necessary hard-copy files.
  • Conception and drafting of internal rules, regulations, policies, procedures, processes and related online training/presentation
  • Point of contact for lawyers/experts/insurance companies, when necessary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in law. Additional Master studies in law are a plus.
  • 5+ years’ legal experience in a similar role in an international environment.
  •  Mastery of contract drafting and review is mandatory
  • Knowledge of labour law, corporate compliance, and contract negotiation is essential.
  •  IT literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher…)
  • Business English (C1), French will be an asset
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Autonomy, proactivity, and excellent communication skills.

This position is a permanent. Flexible working can be considered, such as hybrid working up to 30% of your time.
