Job description
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
As part of the Technology and Quality (TEC) department, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Maintain a comprehensive QMS for the department ensuring procedures and processes are defined, documented, controlled and accessible.
- Support internal and external audit programme definition and monitoring for the following standards: ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001.
- Prepare and conduct internal and 2nd party quality audits.
- Support the effective project management of projects across all sites.
- Organizing and supporting the non-conformance review boards: record and analyse the non-conformances, conduct root-cause and extent analyses and review the corrective/preventive actions.
- Analyse complaints in the Facilities Management domain, issue complaint reports to customers and provide improvement recommendations to the EFM Senior Leadership Team.
- Support the implementation of cross-site user surveys, conducting the analysis, reporting the findings and monitoring the improvement plans.
- Support risks assessments, maintaining records and periodic review.
- Maintain the Risk Register, proposing risk mitigations and controls to the Head of Department.
- Gather inputs from all ESA sites to maintain a record of lessons learned.
- Supporting the development of tools to follow-up quality and other aspects in Facilities Management.
- Provide information and quality reports to the biannual business reviews for each ESA site.
- Support the preparation of departmental KPI and KIB reports and presentations for the performance monitoring of sites and the department.
- Coordinate annual critical supplier reviews.

Qualifications
- A Master degree or equivalent in Engineering , with a strong knowledge and experience in quality engineering.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in the space sector, including 4 years in Product and Quality Assurance;
- Experience leading quality audits, in particular with regards to ECSS standards and other international standards;
- Experience in the Real Estates and Facilities Management domain.
- Experience in 2nd party audits in the domain.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
