Job description

Key Tasks and Responsibilities              

As part of the AIT Department, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Implementation of AIT planning activities for spacecraft production in Friedrichshafen at the project level;
  • Support the AIT manager and project PMO team in creating and maintaining detailed production plans at the project level;
  • Proactively gathering input from all project participants and maintaining the AIT plan accordingly;
  • Conducting schedule analyses and providing appropriate recommendations to the AIT manager and PMO team (e.g., regarding critical paths, resource utilization, etc.);
  • Supporting the implementation of new integrated planning processes in coordination with local stakeholders (Master Production Scheduler) and ensuring compliance within the project
  • Establishing and maintaining working relationships between stakeholders in the functions, the project, and the PMO.
  • Preparation and maintenance of project AIT plans in accordance with project specifications
  • Management of multidisciplinary task links, resource allocations, project milestone tracking, and report-related planning for the project, management level, and customer
  • Supporting decision-making at the AIT and project management level through schedule analysis and planning scenario simulations
  • Act as a contact person for AIT planning issues in the project

Qualifications

Skills & Experience

You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

  • At least a bachelor's degree as an Engineer, aerospace engineer;
  • At least 3 years of Work experience in manufacturing/production, production planning, and control;
  • Experience in the use of planning processes and tools in the field of defence and aerospace in spacecraft production is required.;
  • Experience in managing complex multidisciplinary production plans is required.[Insert skills and experience here]
  • at least detailed specialist knowledge in MS Project requires .
  • Intensive use of planning tools (Unified Planning / Planisware is a plus);
  • Fluency in English and German is Mandatory.
