Job description
As part of the Airbus Defense & Space team, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Design and execute validation test plans for software and hardware components used in space systems;
- Flash and configure embedded software onto telecom hardware platforms for testing purposes;
- Develop and maintain Java-based test tools and utilities for hardware-software integration;
- Document test results and issues in Jira, and collaborate with cross-functional teams via Confluence.

Qualifications
You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Engineering;
- Strong validation experience is important:
- Core skills in SW and HW-related tests preferably in Space
- Familiarity with flashing SW on HW
- Production of code, debugging, ability to be autonomous in testing & investigating
- Ability to define & link tests with tech specification
- Proficiency in in Java;
- Experienced working in Linux-based environments, including remote system access and control via SSH;
- Telecoms HW knowledge (instruments) would be a plus;
- Familiarity with following is preferred:
- Eclipse dev environment
- Doors
- Jira & Confluence
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
