Job description

  • Design and oversee the development of web-based solutions for visualisation, dissemination, cataloguing, and analysis of geospatial data.
  • Ensure these solutions remain state-of-the-art and operational, working closely with the front-end team, UX/UI experts, and domain specialists. Agile and DevOps principles guide our development approach.
  • Define new solutions with the Product Owner to meet end-user objectives.
  • Maintain and evolve the solution in collaboration with the front-end team and technical experts.
  • Deliver regular releases following DevOps principles.
  • Guarantee functional and technical quality, including associated documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with back-end, security teams, and the solution architect.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant field;
  • Minimum 5 years in developing interfaces in the geospatial and web GIS domain;
  • Software and UI design in the geospatial domain.
  • Validation of web interfaces.
  • Experience in Agile projects.

Knowledge of the following technical tools:

  • Frameworks: ReactJS, TypeScript
  • Mapping Tools: Leaflet, CesiumJS, OpenLayers, GIS
  • Standards: OGC interoperability standards (OGC API-Tiles, Features, etc.)
  • Tools: Linux, GitHub, Cloud
