Job description
Provide Engineering support in relation to the space segment integration and testing, including, but not limited to, the support to IRIS2 satellites' AIT industrial activities.
As part of the Service team, you will have the following responsibilities:
Support shall include space engineering in the following areas:
- Follow up space segment integration and manufacturing activities
- Space segment-related industrial reviews and procurement activities.
- Support at the segment and subsystem level
- Definition of AIT plan for IRIS2
Activities may include:
- Requirements engineering and consolidation
- Functional and physical architecture definition
- Design trade-off analysis
- Interface definition
- Technical risk assessment
The Contractor shall support ESA in the review of industrial contract technical milestones, including but not
limited to:
- Space Segment RR (Requirements Review)
- Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR)
- Space Segment PDR
- Space Segment CDR
- Critical Design Reviews (CDR)
- Qualification Reviews (QR)
- In-Orbit Validation Review (IOVR)
- Service Declaration (SD).
The above activities shall result in:
- Technical Notes;
- Analysis of security trade-offs.
- Contribution to accreditation dossier and related risk analysis
- Review Item Discrepancies (RIDS)
- Trade-off Reports

Qualifications
You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:
- Master's in Engineering or equivalent university degree;
- At least 5 years of experience in AIT, manufacturing, and production.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
