Test Definition Engineer - Starlab

HE Space has joined forces with CS Group to lead the engineering and digital space market in Europe and to provide highly skilled consulting.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities                 

As part of the testing team, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for the planning and definition of required tests for the Starlab space station;
  • Representation of the Station Engineering for all test activities in Program Reviews;
  • Responsibility of test activities (definition,planning, etc.) for Program Reviews, Engineering Review;
  • Boards, Risk Control Boards;
  • Preparation of inputs to system schedule;
  • Coordination of technical documentation, trades and analyses for Station topics;
  • Status reporting to the Starlab Lead Station Engineer;

Skills & Experience

You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

  • Masters degree in aerospace engineering or similar relevant area of expertise.
  • 5+ years of experience with test definitions
  • Good communication and presentation skills;
  • Knowledge of spacecraft systems and subsystems architectures and design;
  • Flexible in working time and open-minded spirit;
  • Flexible in supporting business missions as required;
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
