Key Tasks and Responsibilities
As part of the Commercial Space Station team, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Take responsibility as a Station Accomodation System Engineer within the Station chief engineering team;
- Perform trade-off analysis in order to select the best accomodation concept fulfilling system/product requirements;
- Ensure future products and concepts convergence;
- Ensure interface & integration of Engineering activities;
- Explore technical, manufacturing & operational aspects , this includes the capability to assess value & cost benefit;
- Develop knowledge and propose directions on environmental aspects;
- Align engineering tasks with internal technology development programmes;
- Represent the technical aspects of the programmes internally and externally;
Skills & Experience
You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:
- Minimum of Master’s degree in aerospace engineering or other relevant similar fields of study
- 5 years of experience in environment system engineering for the space industry
- Working together culture, in particular in transnational situations;
- Structured problem solver, able to summarise complex situations;
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
