Project Controller

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

As part of the team, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Leading the project "Estimate at Completion" planning process, performing accurate forecasts, providing guidance in line with the overall company financial targets, and challenging business inputs/requests;
  • Developing actionable scenarios to support decision making and providing a comprehensive view on the financial implications of project decisions;
  • Anticipate financial risks and advise on mitigation strategies;
  • Anticipate financial opportunities, identify and secure external funding opportunities;
  • Support Contract Change process;
  • Support and steer the project profit & loss and cash planning Produce accurate and transparent financial monthly reporting;
  • Assess the actual financial project performance, analyse deviations and drive corrective actions;
  • Identifying actionable scenarios for optimization and improvement, monitor materialization of savings;
  • Helping the project navigate through and adhere to finance processes and to finance compliance requirements;
  • Explaining and raising business awareness on finance matters.

 

Skills & Experience

You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

  • Master’s degree in industrial engineering or business administration;
  • 3+ years’ experience in controlling and finance;
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Power Point and SAP;
  • Used to work in multifunctional teams;
  • Effective and good communication skills also with management;
  • Proactive and independent working style;
  • Ability to deal with various stakeholders and all levels of management;
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of German is an advantage.
