Key Tasks and Responsibilities              

As part of the Galileo IVQ Team within Thales Alenia Space you will collaborate with different stakeholders to work out a test approach on segment level that considers all possible dependencies. This is done within a SAFe Agile environment where active participation in all ceremonies is a central part of the daily tasks within an international team. You will have the following responsibilities:

  • Analysing customer specifications, operational concepts and design documentation;
  • Development of test approaches based on the applicable specifications and assessing whether test automation is possible;
  • Supporting the actual test preparation, as well as execution and control of the results;
  • Taking on the SCRUM Product Owner role for one of our IVVQ teams as contact person for external stakeholders;

Skills & Experience

You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

  • University degree in science engineering (systems engineering, computer science, or relevant);
  • Proven experience with integration and verification tests of medium and large  hardware and software systems;
  • Proven experience with specification and design analyses ;
  • Experience with agile methods (SCRUM, or SAFe), PSPO certificate would be an advantage;
  • Proven experience in working with DOORS;
  • Knowledge of state-of-the-art test automation (e.g. Robot Framework/Selenium) would be desirable;
  • Experience with model based system engineering would be an advantage;
  • Knowledge of virtualisation and networking techniques would be a bonus;
  • Very good communication skills are required;
  • Willingness to travel and stay with our partner in France required;
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
