HE Space is a successful international space company. For over 30 years, we have been supporting our customers with qualified experts in the field of engineering, science and administration. We are currently looking for a System Engineer for Mobile Radio Communication Systems to support our customer in Germany.

System Engineer for Mobile Radio Communication Systems


Key Tasks and Responsibilities                  

As part of the Electronic Solutions Division, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Definition of architecture and design of radio networks;
  • Systems engineering and design of governmental major projects;
  • Requirement management for radio communication systems;
  • Definition and reporting of relevant KPI;
  • Editing of Requirement Verification and Traceability Matrix;
  • Comprehensive documentation ;
  • Capturing of logical sequences and interactions of system elements;
  • Definition of important use cases and user stories;
  • Definition of internal interfaces between system elements;
  • Make-or-buy analysis and decisions;
  • Analysis of as-is system and re-use decision.

Skills & Experience

You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

  • Degree in Information Technologies, Electrical Engineering or equal;
  • Experiences in analysis, design, specification, modelling of mobile cellular communication systems;
  • Experiences with UML, SysML and DOORS;
  • Good knowledge of different software engineering processes (V-Modell XT, Agile processes);
  • Good knowledge in architecture- and design patterns;
  • Leadership experiences;
  • Independent working, self-confident manner, good communicational skills;
  • Willingness for business trips;
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of German at an intermediate level is an advantage.
