Learning and Talent Development Administrator

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

As part of the Internal Services Directorate, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Monitoring technical training courses and reporting on statistics;
  • Set up surveys among different target groups;
  • Support the implementation of training requirements;
  • Forecasting and monitoring the short-and long-term ESA-wide, technical competency requirements based on a continuous analysis and monitoring of the Agency’s technical needs and in close collaboration with the relevant ESA technical experts;
  • Organization of technical courses, events and lunch lectures to ensure ESA’s quality standards and requirements;
  • Support HR projects on succession planning, career management and mobility.

Skills & Experience

You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

  • Technical background and HR related experience, i.e., an educational background in form of an Advanced University Degree in Space Engineering or space-related Science discipline is required. Additional certification in HR related fields is considered a definitive asset;
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the field of Human Resources Management, particular in Talent Management or Learning and Development will be an asset;
  • Demonstrable track record across Talent Management or Learning and Development, mainly in the execution and delivery of creative talent development programmes;
  • Experience developing and working with Learning Management Systems. Familiarity with digital and online learning methods and practices is a plus;
  • Experience in managing talent development/L&D programmes and budgeting;
  • Able to take responsibilities and work in an autonomous way;
  • Good analytical skills;
  • Capacity to identify priority actions;
  • Excellent organization skills;
  • Ability to adapt to a multi-cultural environment;
  • Fluent in English, working knowledge of French is an asset.
