Key Tasks and Responsibilities              

As the head of the Product and Quality Assurance group, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Supports instrument development for scientific utilization of space;
• support projects on all levels of maturity, from proving “early stages” of new technologies to the realization of flight hardware in our cleanroom and production facilities;
• Ensure the implementation of quality requirements, procedures and processes in both hardware and software;
• Negotiate with the international space agencies, sub-contractors, partner institutes from in and outside the EU;
• Developing failure prevention policies, procedures, trainings and methods for products, materials, components and operational quality is right up your street;
• Support projects with reviews and perform problem analyses;
• You propose process improvement;
• Manage conflicts and take decisions.

Skills & Experience

You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in Product Assurance in aerospace or avionics projects;
• Experience is hardware, space instrumentation and science;
• You are a strong team leader with good management/coaching skills;
• Experience in diverse functional areas relevant to space / avionics instrumentation, including knowledge of configuration control management is a plus;
• Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
